We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Marine Shrink Wrap Labourer to join our team for the upcoming winter storage season. This is a hands-on, outdoor position primarily involving the preparation and shrink wrapping of boats for winter storage.
Previous marine or shrink-wrapping experience is an asset, but not required. Training can be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with shrink wrapping boats of various sizes
- Build and install shrink-wrap support structures
- Measure, cut, secure, and heat shrink-wrap material
- Install strapping, vents, access doors, and other required materials
- Prepare boats prior to wrapping
- Assist with moving equipment, ladders, materials, and supplies around the yard
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures when working with ladders, heat tools, and around boats
- Assist with other general marina/storage yard duties when required
Requirements
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physically capable of lifting approximately 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders and around boats
- Able to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are an asset
- Marine, construction, roofing, landscaping, or general labour experience is an asset

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, doesn't mind working outdoors, and takes pride in completing a job properly. We're looking for someone dependable who can work at a steady pace while maintaining quality and safety.
Shrink-wrapping experience is preferred but not necessary — we're willing to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
