Overview
We are seeking a skilled Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics and 2nd,3rd,4th Year Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to analyze and maintain various types of equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing machinery, ensuring optimal performance and reliability in an industrial environment.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to ensure equipment functionality.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime..
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance.
- Ability to analyze problems effectively and develop practical solutions.
- Experience with fabrication techniques and tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance tasks.
