At BrightSpace Academy,, we provide customized lesson to meet the needs of individual students, allowing them to move at the pace that best helps them discover their potential. We are looking for candidates who can help our students reach new heights in academic success!
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized tutoring to small groups, adhering to Ontario curriculum standards.
- Support children with their school work and assignments.
- Teach Core French, Math, and English up to Grade 8 or at the high school level.
- Evaluate students' progress and discuss the results with students and/or their parents.
- Identify students' individual learning needs and provide support in those areas.
- Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning.
- Support students to become more confident, successful, and self-directed learners.
Qualifications:
- Teaching/tutoring experience is a must.
- Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
- Passion for teaching and working with children of all ages.
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents.
