PROFILE

Responsible for the day to day administrative support to the Director, Human Resources, Manager, Human Resources Services and Manager, Compensation & Benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides support to the Director/Managers in the maintenance and administration of policies, procedures, HR initiatives and programs including maintaining accurate and comprehensive record keeping and retrieval systems.
Crafts/drafts routine documentation including: letters, emails, job postings, memos, PowerPoint presentations/charts and Excel spreadsheets.
Supports recruitment initiatives, including updating the applicant tracking system.
Helps to identify and assist with the streamlining of HR and Benefit processes to create efficiencies.
Coordinates meeting logistics including: scheduling dates and times, booking boardrooms and ensuring appropriate technology setup.
Manages routine inquiries and liaises directly with service providers/suppliers to obtain or relay specific information.
Assists with the input of data for salary survey participation and the compiling of survey data for the annual compensation process.
Assists in generating and preparing reports as required.
Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS

2 - 3 years’ experience supporting multiple individuals.
Post-secondary education with an emphasis on Human Resources.
Strong client service skills.
Understanding and ability to handle confidential information on a regular basis.
Ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time.
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
