Job Responsibilities:
- Calculate freight costs
- Identify reliable fulfillment services to ensure timely and intact product delivery.
- Prepare invoices that accurately reflect contents, pricing, and destination for processing shipments.
- Organize, document, and track shipments to estimate their arrival at the destination.
- Resolve issues related to delays, damaged products, or back-ordered items with effective solutions.
- Monitor inventory of consumables, WIP (Work In Progress), raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor the scheduled receiving and booking of incoming raw materials and goods.
- Service the daily inventory needs to production.
- Perform order picking with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct inventory breakdowns and organize items for put-away in designated locations.
- Implement inventory rearrangement based on activity, maintaining the FIFO (First In, First Out) process.
- Conduct weekly and monthly inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with the warehouse, production, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor warehouse, production, and yard waste for recycling services.
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to distinguish colors.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Strong time management abilities and capacity to meet deadlines while prioritizing customer service.
- Forklift experience preferred (Can be certified in-house).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, cross-border shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in basic computer software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Other:
- Shift is Monday to Friday 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM.
- Availability for shift work or overtime as needed.
