The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 plus a competitive bonus and incentive package. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, & discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. The Manager, Business Development will report to and support a Director, Business Development in their pursuit of new business opportunities, pipeline development, and the creation of compelling & strategic proposals and presentations.
This is a developmental role with a strategic and defined growth plan based on performance and readiness. While providing project management and deal support to the Director, you will focus on learning the ins and outs of the business, developing and adapting to our proven sales model, and gradually taking ownership of small and mid-sized deal opportunities.

- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Conduct market research to source new business opportunities, accurately forecast future business wins.
- Marketing Materials & Sales Tools: Create and optimize unique and templated emails, proposals, and presentations. Plan and support client events.
- Communication: Manage communication and strategy between internal and external stakeholders.
- Relationship Management: Build long-term account value through client relationships. Manage internal relationships to ensure solutions meet clients’ key decision criteria.
- Database Management: Maintain an accurate record of all client contact & opportunity details.
- Time & Project Management: Successfully multi-task, create a sense of urgency, ensure project teams and SME’s are on track and meet deadlines.
- Deal Ownership: Gradually take ownership of smaller and mid-sized opportunities.
- Provide support to the Director, Business Development with large deals and opportunities.

- 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role with demonstrated experience delivering sales success results.
- Proven ability to create templates, processes, and documentation that improve sales execution.

- Highly organized project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Growth mindset, coachable and hungry for development.

- High degree of personal accountability, integrity and assertiveness to manage/support sales & deliver required outcomes.
- Ability to travel 25-30% of the time.
