The Bridge Youth Resource Centre has a vision that every youth reaches their potential. For youth who are struggling to reach their potential it is the organization’s mission to bridge the gap by providing youth with resources and hope for the future.
The Bridge Youth Resource Centre is a youth serving organization for individuals ages 14-24 where programming centres around education and job support, mental health and addiction services, life and coping skills, and social inclusion activities. The facility also operates The Quiring Family Fresh Start supportive housing facility for youth 16-24 experiencing housing instability or homelessness. The Bridge serves as a hub of supports partnering with many agencies to reduce duplication of service and provide a one-stop-shop approach to care. As an organization, it was determined that providing additional counselling resources for youth accessing the Quiring Family Fresh Start housing facility is a necessary step in continuing to grow the quality of the program. The Bridge is looking to hire a counsellor as a service provider to support youth with a variety of mental health challenges as they work to achieve their individual goals and grow towards independence.
