Job Overview
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients visiting or contacting the veterinary clinic. Your role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and support to pet owners and their furry companions.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the front desk
- Assist with client inquiries, providing information on services and pricing
- Maintain accurate records of patient information in the system
- Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, and other staff members
- Handle payments and billing processes
- Assist veterinarians or technicians in animal restraint
Requirements
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of AVImark software system
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Skills and knowledge in animal restraint.
