Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Painters to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled in residential and/or commercial painting, takes pride in producing high-quality finishes, and works safely and efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Duties
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming.
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Read and interpret work orders and project specifications.
- Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking, and coverings.
- Ensure clean, professional workmanship and attention to detail.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Painter certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional painting experience.
- Experience with residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and various coating systems.
- Ability to operate airless sprayers and other painting equipment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Must be local to Fort McMurray
