We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware & Networking Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPNs, MPLS, and SD-WAN solutions.
- Configure and maintain network devices such as Cisco routers, Juniper devices, Cisco ASA firewalls, and switches.
- Implement and support network security protocols including firewall management, IPS/IDS systems, PKI, SSL/TLS encryption, and network access controls like Cisco ISE and LDAP.
- Administer data center environments utilizing VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, and other virtualization platforms; ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Splunk, and SolarWinds; troubleshoot issues related to TCP/IP protocols, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), DNS, DHCP, NAT/PAT.
- Manage system administration tasks across multiple operating systems including Windows Server, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), BSD variants (Solaris), macOS.
- Automate network configurations and system tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash shell scripting, Python, Ansible.
- Oversee the deployment of cloud services including AWS and Azure; manage virtualized environments with vSphere or Citrix solutions.
- Support telecommunication systems including VoIP with QoS configurations; optimize network architecture for performance and security.
- Maintain documentation of network architecture diagrams; develop policies for network management and security compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience in network engineering with expertise in TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs (IPsec), load balancing solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network security principles including firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems (Snort), PKI infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Citrix; familiarity with SAN storage solutions.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation; experience with DevOps tools like Ansible is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent networking certifications are highly desirable.
