We are seeking a highly energetic person to join our Dietary team. In this position you will be involved with food preparation and productions of the dietary department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess a Food Service Worker Certificate
- Culinary Management Diploma preferred
- Current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Knowledge of safe food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions precisely.
- Able to read and write in English
- Strong communication skills
- Experience working with the geriatric population is an asset
- Positive attitude, task oriented, strong attention to detail
- Able to lift 30 lbs
- Must be available for all shifts and call-ins: days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- The successful candidate will require a clear current criminal record check with a vulnerable sector screening.
