Our ideal candidate will provide exceptional service in all aspects of the sales floor, greeting customers, selling, product knowledge, cash wrap, restock and overall shop keeping.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and usage through product demos and detailed explanations
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products by recommending additional items based on customer needs and preferences
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment to keep the store well-stocked
- Enforce store policies with professionalism, including phone etiquette and adherence to legal regulations
- Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that promote sales
- Support supervising staff when applicable, including overseeing daily operations and training new team members
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math is essential
- Proven customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience in upselling, product demos, merchandising, stock management, and retail math is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain confidentiality of financial transactions
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling inquiries professionally
- Pre-employment Criminal Record Check

- Looking for someone into Arts and Music
- CannSell Ontario Standard Certificate
- Desire and ability to develop a positive in-depth understanding of cannabis
- 2 years plus experience in a similar scope of role with sales and customer service experience in retail or hospitality with extensive customer-facing interaction
