The Company
Convenience Group Inc. (CGI), is a medium sized family based business established in 1974. Located in south Etobicoke, it covers the greater GTA area as a fully integrated dealer for 3M Window Film, Print and Commercial Graphics Products.
CGI serves the commercial, institutional, construction and residential markets in a wide variety of window film applications: sun control, safety/security/blast mitigation, digital print and architectural/decorative graphics, etc. CGI has worked with all major property owners, general contractors and government departments in the specification, project management and installation of the full assortment of window film products.
While the main goal is customer satisfaction, with projects managed on time and on budget, our internal focus is on our employees. The Position
This sales and business development role takes place in the dynamic Property and Facility Management Industry. Our clients include all levels of operations and management of facilities such as high rise commercial office buildings, hospitals, universities and government. With the increased emphasis on energy savings and ongoing concern for safety and security, our window films are widely accepted to solve the many problems associated with these issues. Architectural and decorative graphics are part of every major development and renovation. We play a dominant and leadership role in all the markets we cover. This position involves relationship building with all key players in our various markets. This is a full time position with salary, benefits, commission, car allowance and business expenses paid.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a self starter, comfortable speaking with all levels of property and facility management. A background in products and services related to these industries is a definite benefit. The majority of the activity will be in the East GTA territory.
Position Requirements
Five years+ experience in similar sales/business development activity. Knowledge of property and facility management industry. Relationships with key contacts a benefit.
A strong understanding of technical issues surrounding building operations, glass, window films etc. Presentation skills at various operational and management levels. Knowledge of computer programs; Microsoft Word, Excel, CRM (Dynamics), etc.
