Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up on dual spindle and dual turret CNC lathes (NAKAMURA - TOME) machines, to produce precision aerospace components and maintain ±0.0002" tolerance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes Machines (NAKAMURA - TOME).
- Use precision measuring tools such as Bore gauge, Micrometer, and Thread gauge to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine machining specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
- Adjust machine settings based on measurement feedback to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining processes.
- Proficiency with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Requirement
- Ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in setting up Nakamura - TOME machine — $35+ per hour.
