BREAKFAST COOKING EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. We are seeking a flexible and dedicated On Call Cook to join our culinary team. As an On Call Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The position offers the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, supporting our kitchen operations during busy periods or staffing shortages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety compliance
- Serve food to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and utensils
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards
- Support meal preparation during peak hours or special events as needed
- Ensure proper portioning and presentation of dishes
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- Basic knowledge of the food industry standards and meal preparation processes
