As a Business Systems Specialist in the Financial Systems Department, you will be part of a team that provides digital business solutions for our Refining, Logistics, and Renewables operations. This includes an ecosystem of integrated software solutions, mobile devices, and proprietary applications – both on premises and in the cloud.
Your role will focus on the implementation and support of Accounting, Treasury, and Process Analytics solutions used across all business units.

Implement and support software systems to meet business requirements for all phases of the application development lifecycle (e.g. analysis, design, implementation, and support).

Collaborate across the organization and with outside parties to deliver solutions.
Meet milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables
Successful candidates will have (required):
A bachelor's (or higher) degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or related field required.
Working knowledge of GAAP preferred. (CPA’s, CA’s, and/or Accounting minors a significant plus).
5 years of experience with and expert knowledge of SAP’s FI/CO module and its integration with SD and MM required.
Working knowledge in SAP’s GRC, GTS, BPC, PRA, Concur, BW, AO and/or Opentext VIM solutions required.
Proficient skills using Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Skype required.
The most competitive candidates will have (preferred):
IT knowledge within Refinery industry or related business
Accounting knowledge within Refinery or related business.
Experience with Relational Databases like MS SQL Server and/or Oracle.
Experience with SQL, reporting and scripting languages.
Experience with development languages like ABAP, C#, Java, and/or Python.
