Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial and Multi-Family Electrical Foremen to lead our teams on various projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and collaboration skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and must have strong computer skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITY & DUTIES:
- Supervise, coordinate, and lead a team of 7 - 12 workers at assigned worksites to achieve planned production rates in a safe, cost effective, and quality-focused manner. This is a working supervisor position and thus requires the incumbent employee to have equivalent knowledge and to perform the same activities as those being supervised.
- Normal project scopes include new construction of schools, city buildings, warehouses and multi-family housing, as well as conversion and renovation projects of existing structures.
- The Foreman must have the ability to understand how the job is coordinated from undergrounds to engineer sign-off and envision the work to be performed, including an awareness of difficulties that may be encountered.
- Ensure sufficient labor, materials, and equipment is available to complete the planned work on schedule.
- Direct the activities of all employees assigned to their responsibility to complete tasks on time and within budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is normally preferred, additional on-the-job [OTJ] experience can be substituted for education.
- Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish/French) is preferred, but not required
- Licensing/Registration/Certification: A valid current driver’s license.
- Licensing/Registration/Certification: Current Journeyman’s License.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of direct field experience, with a minimum 2 years supervision experience.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Familiar with construction materials, practices, and procedures.
- Digital Proficiency: Must have proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite and Bluebeam.
- Environmental: This position works indoors and outdoors at a job site and typically includes physical labor and environmental distractions such as changes in climate and temperature. Physical hazards may be present, as typical on construction sites.
- Travel: This position requires constant travel to different worksites and as such normal auto hazards will apply.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
