Browns Crafthouse Main St is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast paced environment. The Sous Chef will be responsible for the day to day operations of our kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily food preparation and service.
- Assist in the daily food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure that all food is stored properly.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning equipment, etc.
- Oversee the ordering of supplies and equipment.
- Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 1 year in a kitchen leader or management position.
- 3-5 years cooking experience.
- Valid Food Safe Certification.
- Culinary School an asset, not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$56,000.00 per year
