Summary
The Applied AI Lead – Product & Enablement is a hands‑on execution role focused on delivering applied AI initiatives across Vimsoft’s product and internal workflows.
This role does not manage a dedicated AI team and is not a greenfield “start from scratch” position. You will work within a defined and evolving AI roadmap, collaborating closely with product and engineering leadership to:
- execute AI initiatives end‑to‑end,
- contribute informed ideas to help shape next iterations of the roadmap,
- and ensure AI solutions are practical, maintainable, and deliver real value.
You’ll have meaningful influence through execution and expertise — not by operating in isolation.
Primary Duties
- Applied AI Execution
- Deliver AI initiatives from defined use case through implementation, validation, and production release.
- Execute against an existing AI roadmap while contributing improvement ideas grounded in prior experience.
- Balance speed, quality, and pragmatism when shipping AI‑enabled solutions.
- Product AI (VimBiz)
- Design and build AI agents and AI‑assisted workflows that allow users to interact more effectively with VimBiz data.
- Integrate AI solutions with existing data structures, permissions, and business rules to ensure reliable and secure behavior.
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to align AI capabilities with real user needs.
- AI Training & Automation
- Own how information is prepared, structured, and maintained for AI assistants.
- Automate documentation ingestion, data processing, and validation to reduce manual effort in AI training.
- Improve consistency, accuracy, and sustainability of AI outputs by strengthening upstream processes.
- Research & Innovation Support
- Act as the hands‑on executor for applied AI research initiatives (e.g., collaboration with RIDSAI).
- Translate research outcomes into practical, production‑ready approaches relevant to VimBiz and internal workflows.
- Internal Enablement
- Implement AI‑assisted tools and automations that reduce repetitive internal work.
- Help teams adopt AI in practical, low‑friction ways that improve efficiency without over‑engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
This role requires proven, applied AI experience. We are not looking for someone early in their AI learning journey.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, applied AI, or closely related technical roles.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience designing, building, and deploying AI‑powered solutions in production environments.
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI into enterprise or SaaS products, not just prototypes or experiments.
- Practical experience with technologies such as LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or AI‑driven automation.
- Proven ability to automate workflows or systems to reduce manual effort using AI or related tooling.
- Ability to work independently, make sound technical decisions, and collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional environment.
This role is intended for candidates who have already shipped applied AI solutions and are comfortable executing with limited hand‑holding.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working with operationally complex domains (e.g., scheduling, logistics, resource management).
- Familiarity with .NET/C#, APIs, SQL, or production data platforms.
- Experience improving internal tooling, documentation pipelines, or knowledge systems through automation.
- Exposure to media, broadcast, or time‑critical operational environments.
Tell us what excites you, what you’re great at, or what sparks your curiosity. We see a lot of generic, AI-generated applications — the ones with real personality and thought always rise to the top. So for this one, we'd love to hear from you, in your own words, written the old-fashioned way.
Send your resume to [email protected], and don’t stop there. Add a short personal intro (just write it into the email) telling us why you'd be a great fit. Great talent tends to create its own opportunities; this is a good place to start.
