Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented administrative assistant to support our medical legal assessment business in managing scheduling and medical file-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks while ensuring smooth operations on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Daily scheduling tasks and management of our calendar
- Managing our various email inboxes
- Receiving and organizing medical files
- Assisting the CEO with note-taking as required
- Providing assistance directly to the CEO and/or COO with various office/administrative tasks as required
- Ability to travel to various locations within Toronto and the GTA/Hamilton area on occasion
Experience
- 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative support, scheduling, or medical office management.
- Experience in a healthcare or legal-related field is preferred.
- Experience in marketing preferred, but not required.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to provide quick and efficient turnarounds to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using various software and systems (i.e. EMR systems, iCloud, Asana, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to maintain clear communication with clients and our internal team to keep everyone informed.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Education
- Post-secondary education is required, with healthcare and/or legal-related certifications being preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
