Job Overview
We are looking for a general labour position to help with mixing concrete, setting fence posts and moving lumber
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and repair of fences using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Measure and cut materials such as wood, metal, or concrete forms to specifications.
- Operate heavy machinery safely for tasks such as excavation or material transportation.
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related masonry work as needed.
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, cabinet installation, and general construction painting.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical work, or restoration projects if required.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or related trades is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus.
- Skills in handling hand tools, power tools, caulking, masonry, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, or electrical experience are highly desirable.
- Experience operating heavy equipment or working with concrete finishing and masonry will be considered an asset.
- Candidates with a background in carpentry or restoration work are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
