Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our restaurant team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in food preparation, food safety, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist in meal preparation and food service, ensuring timely and quality delivery of dishes
- Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, and assembling components for various menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist serving staff when necessary to deliver excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if required
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as lifting or bending
Pay: $17.20-$24.54 per hour
