Summary
We are seeking a skilled Millwright Supervisor to join our team in Ontario. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing our construction operations, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality services in the water and wastewater sector.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Document maintenance activities and report on equipment status.
- Assist in training junior staff on best practices.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in programmable logic controllers.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices and safety protocols.
- Proficient in welding techniques and HVAC systems (preferred).
- Ability to read schematics, blue prints, P&ID's and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills in English.
