In this position, you are dedicated to directing improvements to the production of electrification products equipment in the Electrification Products Division at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu plant.
Reporting to the Head of the Production Department, your goal will be to help define production processes in order to optimize product costs, quality, and delivery times while determining the pace of the work phases in accordance with the budgets allocated to materials.
Support the automation engineering of new technologies such as robots, vision systems, and quality control tools.
Draw up technical documentation and ensure the optimal efficiency of methods, performance, and automation-related materials/components.
Carry out the programming of programable automatons, servos controller systems, and operator interfaces to integrate new features or optimize existing equipment.
Maintain and improve equipment and diagnose problems on the existing production systems.
The technician will also be called upon to install, manufacture, or modify electrical installations such as control panels, sensors, drives, etc. as part of engineering projects.
Define action plans, train the maintenance and production staff needed to implement new processes in and optimal manner.
Facilitate the training of direct and indirect team members as they are integrated.
3- 5 years of experience in estimating and tendering as a production development technician in the robotics and automation industry.
Good knowledge of programming (PLC safety, Guard Logix, Pluto) and of the robotics and manufacturing automation industry market.
Collaborative, solution-based approach, with strong oral and written communication skills.
DCS in the field of automation or equivalent.
