We are looking for a dedicated and experienced System Administrator with a strong focus on cloud technologies and Microsoft 365 to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring seamless operation and optimization of our IT systems. This role involves managing and supporting our cloud resources, Microsoft 365 services, and overall IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Management: Administer and optimize Azure cloud environments, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Manage and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other related applications.
- System Administration: Perform routine system administration tasks such as installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of servers and software. Manage identity and access in an hybrid environment with AD and Entra ID.
- Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures and compliance protocols to protect both cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts for automating cloud and Microsoft 365 tasks using PowerShell, Azure Automation, or other relevant tools.
- Backup and Recovery: Ensure robust backup and disaster recovery processes are in place for cloud and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and health, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents related to cloud services and Microsoft 365, performing root cause analysis and applying corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for cloud infrastructure, Microsoft 365 configurations, and operational procedures.
- User Support: Provide technical support and training for users regarding Microsoft 365 applications and cloud-related issues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, developers, and business units to ensure effective integration and support of cloud and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing and Microsoft 365, and recommend improvements to enhance IT operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration with a focus on cloud technologies and Microsoft 365.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Office 365 Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is a plus.
- Understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements,
