Job Description
We are looking for a Commercial/Multi-Residential cleaner with at least 1 year of commercial cleaning experience for our Ottawa Client in the K1G area code. This is an On-call employee position and requires availability to work both on weekdays and weekends to get more hours.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, and perform duties, including but not limited to: routine, deep and touch-up cleaning, and maintenance of common space, hallways, stairways, laundry room, gym area, and office space
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces
- Clean office space (cupboards, refrigerator, countertops, and other appliances), and bathroom facilities
- Empty garbage and recycle as required
- Check that supplies are adequate in washrooms
Job Type: On-call
Salary: $16.90 per hour
Schedule: Day shift
Must-Haves to Be Considered:
- Available to work for maximum days in a week - Monday to Friday (8.5 hours shift, including 30-minute unpaid break)
- Available to work on Saturday and Sunday (4 hours shift) if needed.
- Work under a Collective Agreement
- Good verbal communication skills
- Mobile phone with internet access
- Have 1 year of commercial cleaning experience
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Willing to undergo a criminal background check
- Be reliable, professional, and on time, and pay attention to detail
- Proof of vaccination may be required in line with provincial guidelines or client preference.
