Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Laborer - Painter to join our industrial painting and sandblasting team. This role involves supporting various painting projects across commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with painting -spray/brush and using hand tools and power tools. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, to ensure optimal adhesion
- Apply paint, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during painting tasks
- Assist with rigging and setup of scaffolding or lifts for elevated work areas
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure project requirements are met on time.
Skills
- Proven experience in industrial painting
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment
- Strong knowledge of caulking techniques and surface preparation methods
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and team members
