Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair automotive systems using mechanical knowledge, schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Perform maintenance on vehicles including oil changes, brake repairs, engine diagnostics, transmission repairs and electrical troubleshooting
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify safety concerns and recommend necessary repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and operation of heavy equipment to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with the assembly, installation, or removal of mechanical components as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
- Adhere to dealership quality standards and customer satisfaction goals.
- Inspect and maintain shop equipment and tools, reporting any defects or maintenance needs.
- Meet productivity, efficiency, and quality performance targets established by the dealership.
Requirements
- Automotive Service Technician certification is required
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service technician; dealership experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience with automotive repair, electrical systems and heavy equipment operation
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various environmental conditions
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team collaboration
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
