Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server with minimum 5 years Experiance to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Wine, cocktail and bottle service experienced preferred. The server will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests through excellent customer service and efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Touch Bistro & Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling regulations in accordance with industry standards
Requirements
- Five years experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Touch Bistro, Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for billing and cashiering tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is advantageous
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or holidays if required
