EcoTreeCo is hiring a motivated Arborist to join our growing team for the 2026 season. We are looking for someone interested in long-term work through December 2026, with opportunities to grow within the company.
This position includes assisting with:
- Tree pruning
- Hazardous tree removals
- Tree planting
- Chipper and equipment operation
- General arborist and grounds work
Job Details
- Full-time position
- Flexible work schedules available to support work/life balance
- Crew meets in Winnipeg, Manitoba and carpools to job sites
- Regular overtime paid after 8 hours/day
- Paid lunch breaks
- Comprehensive safety program provided
Pay
- Starting at $24–$28/hour depending on experience
- Higher pay available for:
- ISA Certified Arborists
- Class 3 licence holders
- Experienced climbers/equipment operators
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (required)
- Ability to lift 40+ pounds
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Experience with chainsaws, ropes, rigging, climbing, pruning, or removals considered a strong asset
- Experience with tree planting considered a strong asset
