ABC N ME Daycare and Learning Centre is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated ECE or ECA to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children.
- Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and daily activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Follow all daycare policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Support daily routines including meals, nap time, outdoor play, and transitions.
- Observe and respond to each child’s individual needs and interests.
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to provide quality childcare.
Qualifications
- ECE diploma/certification or ECA qualification.
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting is an asset.
- CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.
- A caring, patient, reliable, and positive attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and creating a positive learning environment.
