Summary of Role
We are seeking experienced and highly reliable Independent Contractors to perform White Glove Delivery services using Company 5-ton box trucks.
This role is ideal for professional drivers with strong experience in logistics, appliance delivery, or home installation services. You will be responsible for safe transportation, delivery, and basic setup of appliances while ensuring a high standard of customer service.
You will work closely with dispatch, service teams, and business partners to ensure a smooth and exceptional end-to-end delivery experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery truck (cube truck / straight truck) in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies
- Perform white - glove deliveries including in-home placement, unpacking, basic setup, and debris removal
- Conduct pre-delivery inspections and document product condition before and after delivery
- Communicate professionally with customers, by providing arrival notifications, walkthroughs, and post-delivery confirmation
- Protect customer homes using floor runners, door jamb protectors, blankets, and corner guards
- Accurately complete delivery documentation, photos, and customer signatures using mobile delivery software
- Manage delivery routes efficiently while maintaining service quality and on-time performance
- Identify and escalate issues such as access constraints, damages, or customer concerns in real time
- Lead and direct the helper to ensure safe lifting, teamwork, and proper handling techniques
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, organization, and perform daily safety checks
A. Skill Factors (education, experience, communication, technical, etc.)
Education & Licensing
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Valid AZ/DZ/GZ driver’s licence (held for a minimum of 5 years)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (experience letter required)
- Clean driver’s abstract and CVOR
- Clear criminal background check
- Ability to assemble and install household appliances
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skill B. Effort Factors (physical and mental demands)
- Lift, carry, push, heavy items (up to 250 lbs, with assistance for heavier items)
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb stairs for extended periods during deliveries
- Operate delivery trucks safely while navigating traffic and tight spaces
- Maintain focus, alertness, and professionalism in stressful or time-sensitive situations
- Communicate effectively with customers and resolve delivery or safety issues in real time
- Work in varying weather conditions and customer environments
C. Working Conditions
- Full-time position; up to 10-hour workdays, with flexibility based on business needs
- Shifts are scheduled Monday through Sunday; weekend availability is mandatory
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Regular use of hand tools and delivery equipment (e.g., hand carts, dollies)
- Frequent lifting, maneuvering, and positioning of large appliances
- Prolonged periods of driving and sitting
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Exposure to outdoor weather condition
- Fitness for duty is required while operating company vehicles, in accordance with company safety policies

Pay: $200.00 per day
