Job Responsibilities:
- Teach Grade 6 to Grade 12 Ontario, IB and AP curriculum
- Prepare lesson materials, games, worksheets, mark homework and update progress.
- Maintain on-going communications with parents.
- Free regular Online Teacher Trainings are provided. (Flexible hours)
Requirements
- Eligible to legally work in Canada
- Bachelor’s degree and / or OCT certified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must attend and pass the Free Mentorhood Teacher Training Online (minimum of 3 hours)
- Display a positive attitude and rapport with students
- Must be able to provide an up to date security clearance/background check
- Tutor must be available on:
Tuesday 4:15-7:15pm Richmond Hill
- Have experience teaching or participating in Math competitions: Math Kangaroo (Canadian / US) is an advantage.
- Experience with IB and AP tutoring is an advantage.
- Have experience or willing to teach Kindergarten to Grade 5 children is an advantage.
- Native Mandarin Speaker is an advantage.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: $23.00-$45.00 per hour
