Job Overview
Ariana Auto Service is seeking a motivated and skilled licensed Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Whitby, Ontario. The successful candidate will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain cars, SUVs, and light-duty vehicles while providing safe, reliable, and high-quality workmanship.
We are looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
- Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance
- Complete oil changes, brake repairs, suspension and steering work, and tune-ups
- Diagnose warning lights and vehicle performance issues using scan tools
- Perform tire installation, balancing, rotation, and related services
- Conduct wheel alignments when trained and assigned
- Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and equipment
- Perform road tests when required to confirm vehicle concerns and completed repairs
- Clearly communicate repair findings and required parts to the service team
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed
- Keep tools and work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience working as an automotive mechanic or apprentice
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures
- Ability to diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems
- Experience safely using automotive hand tools, power tools, hoists, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical information
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician licence is mandatory
