The Opportunity
PMAM is currently searching for a thoughtful, precise, and results-oriented individual to join the firm’s technology team as a Back-End Developer reporting to the Head of Technology.
The Back-End Developer will be responsible for design, implement and test software features, primarily from a backend perspective while working with cloud technology stack – Azure.
You will be on the ground floor of an exciting new opportunity with an established and leading financial firm, launching exciting new capabilities for Financial Advisors.
Responsibilities of the Role
- Support the advancement application architecture and micro services-based design and implementation efforts for various client projects.
- Designing and developing scalable software solutions using the latest back-end languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries from conception to deployment on the Azure platform.
- Advanced knowledge of API development and integration with third-party systems.
- Develop, create, and document technical specifications and designs that satisfy documented business/functional requirements.
- Adhere to software development life cycle and technology architecture best practices and stated requirements for application delivery.
- Participate in code reviews and provide delivery guidance that spans application domains and teams.
- Write maintainable code with extensive test coverage, working in a professional software engineering environment (with source control, release cycle, and continuous deployment).
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
- Demonstrate a passion for and proven track record of identifying and creating exceptional software.
- Work in a team, contributing proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team of business professionals.
