We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Metal Siding Installer to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining metal siding systems on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal panels, trims, flashing, and exterior cladding materials, with the ability to work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.

Duties
- Install metal siding panels, trims, flashing, soffit, fascia, and exterior cladding systems
- Measure, cut, and fit metal siding materials accurately according to project specifications
- Install house wrap, insulation, strapping, and other wall-preparation materials as required
- Repair or replace damaged, loose, or worn siding components
- Use caulking and sealants to properly seal joints, seams, penetrations, and flashing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, drills, saws, snips, and measuring equipment safely
- Perform heavy lifting of metal panels, siding materials, ladders, and tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and installation plans
- Assist with general exterior carpentry, framing, and finishing tasks when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site by properly storing tools and removing debris
- Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper ladder, scaffold, fall-protection, and PPE use
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience installing metal siding, steel cladding, metal panels, or exterior siding is preferred
- Proficiency with hand and power tools including drills, saws, snips, levels, tape measures, and impact drivers
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, exterior finishing, and siding installation techniques
- Ability to measure, cut, bend, and fit metal materials accurately
- Experience with caulking, flashing, sealing, and weatherproofing is an asset
- Carpentry experience is an asset for framing, strapping, trim work, and exterior repairs
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Good physical stamina, balance, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and safety protocols
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
