Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
- Deliver outstanding customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering expert recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair treatments to enhance client results and increase sales
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling client inquiries efficiently
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and product usage to promote ongoing maintenance at home
- Collaborate with team members to create a lively, supportive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits and positive reviews
Requirements
- Valid Province cosmetology or hairstylist license in good standing
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work showcasing versatility and creativity
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their desired looks
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices to uphold health standards at all times
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while providing exceptional service
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic familiarity with front desk operations including appointment booking and client management software is preferred
