Masco Crane & Hoist has immediate opening for an Overhead Crane Service & Inspection Technician to join our team. This job includes, installation, repairs, wiring, maintaining & upgrading all makes and models Crane Systems.

Working alongside trained Red Seal Electricians, Journeyman Welders, and certified Crane Installers. Candidate will be performing inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance of various crane systems. Masco Steel offers the opportunity for you to be a part of our growing team and industry. Crane Technicians will be working out of our Leduc/Edmonton facility and customer sites.
Job Description:
. Perform routing inspections and preventative maintenance on all makes and models of hoists and trolleys such as: Gantry, Jibs, Monorails and Overhead Cranes.
. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and makes necessary repairs.
· Assist with installation of all manufactured equipment such as; Cranes and Hoists
. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of all equipment.
. Adhere to all Safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
· Perform any other duties which may be assigned based on the company’s requirements.
Job Requirements:
· At least 1-year Crane service & inspection knowledge and experience is required.
. 1 year electrical and mechanical knowledge and experience is required
· Work at high elevation.
· Ensure that the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times.
· Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required with clean driving record.
· Ability to travel to various locations as the job requires.
· Applicant must be reliable, committed, dedicated with excellent communication skills and must
adhere to all company policies including, appearance, attendance and customer care.
· Applicant must comply and exercise all Masco’s Health & Safety practices, the Occupational Health &
Safety Act (OHS).
· This is a long term permanent full-time position.

Preference will be given to candidates with the following Certifications: Journeyman Electrician, or Journeyman Millwright, First Aid, Zoom Boom Training, Scissor-Lift Training, H2S Alive, WHIMIS, TDG, CSTS, Fall Arrest and Aerial Work Platform
