Twin Hills Ford Lincoln is seeking a Licensed Automotive Technician (310S) to focus on vehicle repair and maintenance. Responsibilities:
- Test drive and perform a visual inspection of the customer’s vehicles prior to repair in order to diagnose needs.
- Shuttles vehicles into and out of service area.
· Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment.
· Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
- Perform equipment inspections.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) of new cars.
- Perform detailed daily record keeping and reporting, including records of time, expenses and materials.
· Partner with team members to drive efficiency and resolve complex issues.
· Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment.
- Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
- Attends all training courses as requested by service management.
· Take ownership of the development of your technical expertise by creating and maintaining an Individual Development Plan, with the support of other team members and management.
Qualifications and Certifications:
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician License.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class G Preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Dealership and Warranty experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Flat rate
Salary: $60,000 – $120,000 per year
