About the Role:
As Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, measuring and testing sub-assemblies and finished items as well as completing documentation.
In this role, you will report to the Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs.
Essential Functions:
- Organizes and performs all in-process testing
- Evaluates job and identifies subassemblies
- Organizes and times intervention for in-process testing
- Identifies inspections, measurements and tests used on sub-assemblies and finished items and ensures they are preformed and documented
- Ensures correct labeling of not-yet accepted and accepted materials
- Ensures that all non-conforming material is identified and removed from areas of use
- Ensures all forms are completed and signed for in-process testing
- Ensures all testing is recorded
- Identifies areas of deficiency and reports them to QARA department and R&D department
- Ensures labels are printed correctly and verified
- Identifies and Quarantines any Nonconforming Material
- Controls identification and removal of nonconforming raw materials before use
- Participates in Packaging Validation
- Serves as the second tier in the packaging validation process
- Inspects finished package before release from cleanroom
- Qualifies sealers on a daily basis
- Assists in Research and Development
- Serves to review cleanroom quality control issues in the development of a new product, or changing and existing product
- Identifies Designates and training needs of designates when necessary
- Assists in assembly of finished goods
- Assists with cleaning
- Other related duties as assigned
Experience & Required Skills:
- Clear, concise and professional communication both verbal and written
- Problem solving skills partnered with abilities to do research
- Excellence in basic mathematical skills
- Fine attention to detail complimented with a flair for organization
- Expertise in time management and a keen ability to delegate ensuring adequate training is provided
