We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, exceptional customer service skills, and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for clients. Responsibilities
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, and styling for diverse client needs
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client preferences and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations
- Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk duties including client check-in/out, and answering questions about services offered
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded during each visit
- Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs
- Proficiency in various hair styling techniques including cutting, and styling treatments
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean workspace
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while providing honest recommendations
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required
- A professional attitude with a passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in the hairstyling industry
Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
