Job Description
AltaGas - Energy Marketing Analyst
Supports internal and external stakeholders to maintain and improve business operations. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate logistics of natural gas liquids supply, condensate, transportation, and working closely with the Traders, Business Analytics, Mid and Back Office to ensure accurate reporting and invoicing.
You will:
Support NGL Representatives with schedule, logistics arbs and other pricing data
Manage daily and monthly truck and pipeline scheduling, reconciling, nominating, and actualizing of various truck and pipeline accounts for specific accounts
Coordinate truck logistics of NGL sales plans
Provide support for NGL product mitigation efforts
Support deal ticket entry submissions by NGL Representatives to Business Analytics
Attend Asset Team meetings for facilities associated with NGL Lease purchase and sales
Interface with external customers coordinating logistics of NGL products
Provide holiday support for NGL and Condensate Representatives
Work with AltaGas Operations, Engineering, and Logistics groups to optimize scheduling and reporting of NGL product trucking
Develop a strong understanding of natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil, refined products, and petrochemical markets and their impacts on NGL market fundamentals and AltaGas’ business
You have:
Relevant university degree in either Commerce, Economics, Finance, or Engineering preferred
3+ Years commercial operations experience with a focus on NGL, Condensate, Crude Oil and LPG markets
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability and aptitude to excel in an unstructured work environment
Independent, accountable, and biased to action; and
Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity; self-motivated to deliver exceptional financial results; and a focus on maximizing team performance
