Company is looking to add to its corporate counsel to handle all legal issues (litigation, business development, regulators etc). Our company have a few related companies and files will also need attention. We can offer a base salary with bonuses. In the past we have used outside counsel who will still facilitate file to be transferred to in house counsel. We have access to senior counsel to help on these files if our in-house counsel needs help in the future. Company is open to the lawyer who might be a junior lawyer or retired lawyer who can liaison with outside counsel. Location of work can be flexible to be from home. We do have a formal business office in a business suite where other lawyers have offices that can be provided as a base to work from (Law office of Faisal Kutty). The company can also consider if the candidate handles other of his own personal files at the same time. We are open to a part time or full-time arrangement.
Corporate counsel will join senior management to improve the business model. Opportunity if they are interested to travel internationally and speak at industry conferences. Languages such as Arabic or Urdu are a bonus. Individual who knows the reference of Usury in Islam/Muslim, Jewish and Christian scriptures.
