Job Summary
Leading Edge Motor Cars is seeking a friendly and dependable Lot Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the appearance and organization of our dealership lot, assisting with vehicle movement, and providing excellent guest services. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous dealership or hospitality experience is a plus, along with bilingual skills and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize a retail inventory of approximately 40–60 vehicles.
- Ensure all vehicles are clean, presentable, fueled, and properly displayed on the lot.
- Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure units are in good running order.
- Coordinate with the Used Car Manager and Service Department regarding vehicle readiness and repairs.
- Move vehicles throughout the lot and dealership as required.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries, pickups, and transportation between departments.
- Monitor vehicle battery health, tire pressures, fuel levels, and general condition.
- Maintain a clean and professional dealership appearance.
- Assist with vehicle detailing and cleaning as needed.
Requirements
- Previous automotive industry experience preferred.
- Previous Lot Attendant experience is strongly preferred.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License.
- Clean driving record with the ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
