Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our team as a Powder Coat Painter
This position will ensure all parts are powder coated efficiently, in accordance with Sytec’s quality standards and on-time performance.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following:
❖ Must be legally permitted to work within Canada.
❖ 2+ years of powder coating experience.
❖ Prior experience in all stages of pre-treating parts/components: rinsing, stripping, masking.
❖ Manual dexterity and basic experience with hand tools including metal finishing equipment such as disk grinder, orbital and belt sanders, sealing tools, powder application guns.
❖ Basic knowledge of reading blueprints and knowledge of maintaining paint line functionality.
❖ Strong attention to detail and quality.
Responsibilities
❖ Load and unload parts, for maximum efficiency.
❖ Perform required quality checks, both in-process and final inspection of parts.
❖ Pretreat, clean and apply powder coat to a variety of parts.
❖ Operate and maintain all coating equipment, including guns, booth collection systems, strip tank.
❖ Frequently, move and lift parts.
❖ Ensure compliance with Sytec policies and procedures.
Benefits:

❖ Pay – $21.50 - $23.50, depending on relevant experience.
❖ A company benefit plan is available after 3 months of employment.
Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 40-hour work week (6 AM – 2:30 PM).
