Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Catering Server to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional services at various film and television sets, ensuring a memorable experience. The Catering Server will be responsible for serving food and , assisting with setup, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hospitality. Ideal candidates will have a background in food service or hospitality, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in dynamic environments. PLEASE NOTE JOB IS ONLY SEASONAL AND NOT PERMANENT
Responsibilities
- Set Up Tables, Buffet Stations and Cutlery
- Serve food efficiently and courteously during catered events
- Ensure all food handling and serving procedures adhere to food safety standards
- Assist with setting up and breaking down catering stations and event spaces
- Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of service areas throughout the event
- Address inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE A VALID G LICENSE
- Able to lift 40lbs+
- Teamwork and Attention to Detail
- Experience in Film and Television preferred but not required
- Strong guest services and customer service skills
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and food presentation techniques
- Ability to serve efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
- Experience with food preparation or hotel service is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or supplies as needed
- Food safety certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates
Pay: $21.00 per hour
