The Olympic HVAC Parts and Supply division team is a wholesale distributor on the Northshore that supplies equipment and parts to the HVAC & Refrigeration trade. Our parts group is a fast-growing and dynamic team committed to customer service.
Role Overview:
Warehouse Logistics Coordinator (Shipper) will take full ownership of all warehouse duties, with a primary focus on the shipping and receiving of goods. This role is essential for maintaining efficient warehouse operations and includes managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring inventory accuracy, regularly operating a forklift, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating the flow of work within the Parts and Supply division. We are looking for a proactive, hands-on, self-managed individual who thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and is a self starter that takes initiative and can operate with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills to engage assertively with vendors and team members; someone who is eager to take on new responsibilities and grow with the role.
While this position is currently classified as entry-level and does not involve leading a team, the expansion of our division may present potential future career advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organizes, and manages operational logistics of the supply-chain, all products, materials, and supplies.
- Engages with vendors, drivers, logistics technicians, and others involved with a positive attitude and in a time-efficient manner.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming/outgoing shipments against invoices/other documents, records shortages, rejects damaged goods.
- Promptly unloads trucks, and deliveries and sorts of stocks receivables.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
- Follows instructions from the warehouse team and communicates effectively to help ensure a smooth, organized, and safe process.
- Safely operates a forklift, hand truck, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Able to lift items up to 50lbs and being 100% responsible for all warehouse duties.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required
- High school diploma at minimum
- Previous minimum of 6 months experience in logistics, retail, or customer service
- Forklift Certification is required (Sit Down Counter Balance Forklift)
- Previous experience with receiving, sorting, stocking, and stacking of incoming/outgoing stock
- Previous experience with pulling, packing, and loading
- Experience in the warehouse is an asset
- Inventory control management skills; efficient management and execution of work orders, tracking and restocking items, cross-checking records, solving inventory-related issues, and notifying the Operations Manager of low inventory levels
- Possesses good communication skills (both written and verbal) and demonstrates excellent customer service
- Hands-on attitude, ability to work independently and/or within a team and solve problems (find solutions)
- Detail-orientated and conscientious work ethic
- Proven ability to multitask, stay organized in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and follow through with deadlines
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (knowledge of Excel is essential)
- Physically demanding, ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Additional duties as assigned.

Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
