Our client, a leading automotive industry organization, is seeking a Design Release Engineer to join their team. As a Design Release Engineer, you will be part of the vehicle electrical systems department supporting cross-functional teams involved in wiring harness design, validation, and release. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
- Lead and assist in the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for wiring harness assemblies.
- Ensure part drawings and documentation match master models to maintain design integrity.
- Author and validate CCDs, CNs, IAAs, and PERs to meet all engineering and release requirements.
- Support launch activities at the assembly plant, ensuring readiness and issue resolution.
- Contribute to vehicle/component DFMEA, DVP (with CC validation), FO, and Design Rule compliance.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation wiring design, release, or vehicle electrical systems.
- At least 4 years of overall engineering experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and present high-quality reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
