We are looking for a Business Development Manager, reporting to the General Manager. This role’s primary responsibility is to prospect new business. You will mainly be prospecting older condominiums, with the goal of educating the community and replacing outdated fan coil equipment.
Compensation and benefits:
- A combined compensation of approximately $100,000 to $150,000 per year, or exceeding depending on performance
- Base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year depending on experience
- Car allowance: $500 per month
- Bonus: % of units sold

Responsibilities include:
- Leverage existing installation records to reconnect with customers as well as prospect new customers
- Build relationships with stakeholders: property managers, management companies, board of directors, and channel partners
- Educate stakeholders and residents to facilitate progress along the sales process.
- Ensure all details are impeccably transitioned to installation team
- Organize and attend trade shows and industry events
- Organize and present at condominium townhalls
- Provide timely follow up to customer inquiries and tender requests, including the creation of quotations and presentations
- Research potential customers and recommend a course of action
- Visits sites throughout the GTA, and occasionally outside of the GTA.
- Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, sales quoting, and e-signature, etc.)
- Opportunity to assist with Unilux Suite Solutions (US based operations)
- Assist with other projects as required
Requirements:
- University degree or College diploma in marketing or business, or a related field
- Over a year experience in the condominium industry
- Over 2 years sales experience in a business-to-business environment
- Must be self-motivated and results-driven
- Proven ability of the following skills: communication, relationship building, business acumen, objection handling, problem solving, prioritization, organization, and time management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- HVAC, manufacturing, or construction experience is an asset
- Means to freely travel around the GTA
Hours and Location:
- Office located at 3055 Lenworth Dr, Mississauga
- Frequent site visits in the GTA and occasionally outside of GTA.
- Flexible start time: 8am or 9am; work from home is a possibility
- Monday to Friday; Some evenings and rare weekend required for industry events
- Opportunity to travel to the US to assist with industry events.
