About the Role
CitiBuild Corp. along with Doru Vasile Architects are growing design and construction companies seeking a talented Part-Time Contract Architectural Designer/Drafter. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, hands-on experience producing construction document sets, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This is a contract engagement with potential to expand based on project volume.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce complete construction drawing sets including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Draft and coordinate architectural drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit to project standards
- Develop construction details, wall sections, and material/finish schedules
- Prepare permit-ready drawing packages in compliance with applicable building codes
- Coordinate drawings with consultants as needed
- Update and revise drawings based on project team redlines and client feedback
Qualifications
- 2+ years of architectural drafting/design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- Demonstrated experience producing full construction document sets
- Working knowledge of building codes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines independently in a remote environment
- Architecture diploma or degree
Compensation & Terms
- Rate: $25/hr
- Hours: Flexible scheduling - approximately 15 to 25 hours per week
- Duration: Project-based with opportunity for ongoing contract work
- Equipment: Contractor provides own hardware and licensed software
